Meaningful Beauty testing!

 

So, I was chosen by Influenster to test the new Meaningful Beauty.

First off, let me start with this.

I have awful skin!

I am so very self conscience about it.

And so anytime I can try something new...I try it. After all, what can it hurt!

I must say...I love how this stuff feels on my face. I apply it first thing in the morning, after washing my face, and it feels so clean! And smooth.

Alot of reviews I read, said that they like it in the evening, but I truly love it in the morning. So, to each her own :)

Anyways, I won't yet do a before/after post...because I am only about a week or so in....but I do LOVE how it makes my face look.

And that says A LOT from me!

What's for Dinner?

Ok, let's face it, so I am NOT a great cook! It's ok. It's ok. No one has to tell me, I just know it :)

But, then, comes the Lawry's......I *love* using mixes, sauces, spices, etc that are EASY and make it seem like my "cooking" was really more of me, than of a package.

Cisco Valet Router Review

Ok, I know that I am a "gadget" kind-of girl, so when new stuff comes out, I like to try it ASAP or atleast know someone who has......so, I love to read reviews!

I thought I'd give my review of this awesome new router. The Cisco Valet Wireless Router.

The Valet lets families easily set up a wireless learning environment in their homes. Valet features a 3-step set up (compared to over 20 for routers of the past and the inevitable call to the tech guy!). And even better, Valet makes setting and managing parental controls to wireless devices simple and flexible.

The setup on this thing was a breeze! It was just a simple plug in, add it to your computer, and go! You can also customize this to have "channels" some with filters, etc! I LOVE this thing!

And, I checked it out, for the price of $79, it is comparable to all of the other routers, and, a MUCH easier product to install, and for visitors to use!

So, if you are in the market for a router, I highly recommend the Cisco Valet. You will NOT be disappointed!

16 mile run!!!!

I can't believe it! We are less than 9 weeks away from the Marine Corps Marathon! I am so excited about this run, I can hardly stand it.

This marathon training is actually coming along a little easier than the first one, I really think it is because I know what to expect.....and I know just how grueling the training can be! So, each time...I really psyche myself up for the long run.

Today was NO exception.

16 miles. I did it! Yay!

It was hard. It was mentally exhausting. It was raining. That was helpful. It was breezy. Thank you, Jesus!

But, needless to say, I was SOAKED.......and I would LOVE to blame it on the rain, but mostly, it was just gross, salty sweat, kind of soaked!

So, I came in, threw my clothes in the washer with this ProWash detergent! It was the perfect day to try it out!

They came out like a DREAM! I think I have found a new best friend!

Now, I wonder if they make something that can take me 10 miles further :)

My first experience with Neutrogena UltraSheer

So, I have had the privilege of being among several people reviewing the New Neutrogena UltraSheer.

I was excited, and anxious to try it, so when it arrived, I immediately washed my face, and applied!

Now, when I started applying it, it seemed thick. A little too thick for my liking....BUT...as soon as it was on my face, that feeling was gone.

I could not feel it at all.

And, the label is right...it goes on nearly invisible...under makeup!

And, I spent a day in the sun...and yes, ma'am...good good results! No burn!

So...so far....I am a fan!
