No time for Scrapbooking??!!

I am working super hard on getting my digital pics / cd's in order! In getting them organized, and labeled, I have been strolling down memory lane! Look how cute! This was for our 2004 Card. Just showing how quick they change!

I love those little cute faces. Now...........maybe I can scrapbook a little bit tomorrow (fingers crossed!)

Very Busy December!

Here's the quick post of what's been going on 'round here!

  • Christmas Caroling to the hospital. Wow, what a blessing!
  • Yes, I colored my hair (the look on the boys' faces says it all!)
  • Chap turned 8. What a cutie!
  • I got my mixer! Thanks, Oprah! Thanks, Paula! I made a cake for Chappy with it!
  • I made baskets for the people at Scott's work! Yes, those are EMPTY ice cream cartons, you know what that means??!!
  • I hand painted snowman pails for Chap's class. Yes, they are super cute!
  • Mason made a 22 on the ACT. Seriously!
  • It's cold here! Finally!
  • Santa shopping is done..........and ready for the big day!
  • Mason got dumped! He's ok. First of many, I am sure!

Catching some slack!

Ok, so I've been catching some slack about my "tired" post.

Yep, that's me. Just being real. Can't I be real here???

Regardless, Santa Shop is over, Chappy's bday party was a success, and there are no longer any laundry stacks in my room...........because it has all been worn again, and now it needs to be washed!

Gotta love it!

But, I wrote in my 'thankful journal'...........I am thankful for laundry, because that means there are people here that I love!!

All is well.

Pell City Pacers..............

How fun is that??

Pell City Pacers are the spotlight runners for the Anniston Runners Club!

I love it!!

500 elementary kids

Santa Shop is whipping my butt! Really!

I love it. I love it.

We have these little can koozies, and this little girl, maybe 5 or 6 years old, comes up and I am wrapping it, and I say, "Ok, let's do the gift tag. Who is this for?" and she said, "Oh, it's for my daddy, he drinks alot!"

How hilarious is that!!!

Love a kid.

I am so tired........................................

I am so tired...............

Tired of NO ONE in my house caring that the CLEAN laundry is stacked to the ceiling on my bedroom floor. One stack for each of them turned into two stacks (after the first stack got so high it toppled over) and now onto the third stack. Notice: Not one stack for me! Mine is all put away

Tired of everyone coming home and asking "so, what'd you do all day". Duh, do you see the clean house, do you see dinner on the table, do you see the laundry (all stacked up!), did I run you ALL over town, to every practice you can imagine, are there groceries in the fridge, do you have plenty of shampoo? YES---------DUH!!!!!!! THAT'S WHAT I DID. THE BETTER QUESTION IS WHAT DID you DO?????

Tired of feeling like my chest is squeezing the life out of me because I am stretched in so many different directions sometimes I can't breathe.

Tired of eating on paper plates. For the love, where are the dishes?? We have lived here for almost 9 months now. Where could they be?

Tired of eating PB&J for lunch because we are broke as a joke. Yes, God provides, and believe me, if anyone knows that, I do, but the penny pinching gets so hard sometimes.

Tired of not being able to scrapbook, or even just create something. I have an entire studio filled with all of my lovelies, and I can't even get up there to make something fun.

Tired of needing to clean out my closet and throw some of that crap away, but I know if I clean it out and get rid of all of the stuff I don't want.........there will be nothing left.

Tired of hearing the squirrels at night. Please, God, please, I know you made the animals, but please, make them a new home.........not in MY attic! Please, I really think they live there......again!

Tired of not being able to run and workout like I want to, because I can only give it just a minutes in my day. Because everything else takes up my day.

Tired of feeling a little unloved, unappreciated, un-needed, unwanted, over-worked, not getting paid, non-creative, non-productive, and all of that jazz.

Tired of the garage looking like a wrecking ball NEEDS to hit it...........

Tired of the fact that I need TWO (count them TWO) pictures hung, and I can't do it........and they've been there waiting.........for too long!

Tired of my two boys living like pigs............and liking it!

Tired. Tired. Tired.

Whew. I needed that. Now, if I could only get off of this laptop and find some relief. But, not gonna happen.

So, I digress.

Happy Birthday Sissy!

When I was younger, my friends always told me how cool it was that I had a sister. They wanted a sister. WHY?? I wondered! We fought, we took things from each other, we were mean (well, she was meaner than I was!), and that was that.

But, looking back now, I think it all started when I graduated. We moved in together at college, and pledged the sorority together, partied together, failed Math class together (twice!), we've been pregnant together, been in each other's weddings. So many experiences........together!

What would I have done without her all of these years. The good things, and the not so good things. The funnest times, really. Being locked in bathrooms in no-where-ville Georgia. Twice at Oprah.........really, you must be kidding! 50 million trips to Starbucks along the way!

So, 35 years old she is ........we ran the Jingle Bell Run together today!!! (She finished in "35" minutes, how cool is that!)

Happy Birthday, Sissy!!!
