Good times!
Nothing like spending a weekend with the man himself! Just a little bit of re-grouping, focusing, and some new flavors!
How fun is that!
However, note to self: The sun does not come out in Tennessee until much later! That can put a kink in marathon training!
Other note to self: Stay away from the new Sweet Butter Cream! That stuff is pretty good!

Hey, flu, please go away!
Both boys have been sick, and now I think this thing is kicking my butt............and I don't like it.
At all.
But, on a happier note, sickness is a little easier with wireless :)
Here's a couple of picks from the Mercedes. The boys did so good, and it was so fun, all of the kids, and all of the hype!
And, a pic of our relay team. Samantha started it off, and flying up Greensprings! Man, that is a hill, no doubt! Good job, Samantha.
Kristin took the second leg, and just after recovering from the stomach virus, she did great!! Running in like a champ.
I took the middle leg, 6.2 miles, and I ran my entire leg. I was so happy. Loving it! Feeling like I was on top of the world! Yeah, me!
I passed the chip to Susie, who ran in like a cheetah, curving through Mountain Brook, and all that jazz, and handing off to Scott, who brought it home for the Pell City Pacers!
Yipp!

Humpty, Cupcakes and Luv Notes!
**How cute is Humpty Dumpty!!!!! The cutest ever!!!!!!!!!!!! He did great! All of his friends did great! Macy even sang a solo!!! I was so proud of her!
**The boys wanted me to bake cupcakes to celebrate Elijah's birthday. So, while they were at school, I baked them, had them ready with sprinkles, and we celebrated! It was a sweet ending to my day.
**God knows JUST what I need. I got some happy emails on Tuesday that made me smile. A few of my closest friends called to just check in for the day. Even got a sweet card! I love having good friends.
**Luv Notes! How cute is this mailbox! I loved it when I spotted it at Target (only a buck!) and then I loved decorating it! I had started mine and then saw Virginia's, and I loved the ribbon on hers, so I just copied that, outright! Thanks, V!
This is the one I made for Scott, and I filled it with a cutie-pie note, just a sweet note of LUV! I have one too, we will see how long it takes for him to spot it, and drop a note in it!
The cutest part is that he got the note, read it, and said "oh, mom, how sweet" and then today, I noticed that the flag was down! I love him!

Eday!
Has it really been 9 years?? I look at this little photo of his hands and feet, and I can hardly take it. 9 years. I wish he was here. I wish I could hold him, I wish I could see him run and play. I wish he was here today.
But, I will be content, and I guess thankful for the experience that it has been. I know that it is all God's plan, but that really does not make it that much better. Especially for today.
This is my quiet, be alone day. Do my own thing day. Elijah's day. Our day. I just want to go sit in that same rocking chair that I was in 9 years ago.
I think I will do that now.

We Rocked Out The Show!!!
What a fun night! Seriously, nothing like it! The line wrapped around the inside of the building, girls arriving in Limo's, so much glitter, bling, and squealy girls, it was wild!
But, all is well! Chap rocked out when the Jonas Brothers came out, and he did not stop rocking after that! He played air guitar so much, I bet his fingers are hurting!
These are the times that I love! Chap and his cousins (and a few friends!!) having fun being kids! Later, maybe he will think, my mom was so cool, taking me to that movie (yeah, right!).
Anyways, good times, good times!
