has to have tubes put in next week! One week away! Yes, that's so sad. He's really been struggling for a few months, and we are just now getting down to the source with the ENT. So, they will do it, and then hopefully, he will be hearing good again! Poor guy, and I just thought he was jamming out to High School Musical. Who knew he was turning it up so loud.......just to hear it :)

So, now, as if there's not enough craziness in our lives, throw in a surgery! Yikes!

Hey, aren't you Betty Applewhite?

So, first off, what a fun time we had at the Atlanta Hawks game! Good stuff! Great seats......

So, we are sitting there, and all of a sudden, I am like, "oh my goodness! It is Betty Applewhite!!" (you must know that I am a celebrity dork, and I love them all!! So, seeing Alfre Woodard from Desperate Housewives just made my day!)

Anyways, so they sat right in front of us ( you know, as close as from me to Oprah!!) Ha! Anyways, we watched the fun banter with her and her son (14 years old!) and me and Kristin picked at him a little bit for being the average teenager, and having an embarrasing mother!

So, Scott had urged me not to be the dork that I am and ask for a pic, but after a few people did it, I had to!! So, I did! And, she kindly agreed!

After we get home, I google her to only find out the she is a 4 time Oscar winner, and in way bigger roles than Betty Applewhite! But, for me, I will hold her fondly in my heart for that role where she entered my living room once a week and was just as wicked as can be! Love her!

Drive for a Cure

Well, it surely is a hard job...............but it was for a good cause!!!!!!!!!!!!

What in the world?!?! This was so much fun! I drove a BMW and they donated towards Breast Cancer Research. What could be better than that!

I had so much fun, top down, then top up, windows down, then windows up! Radio, surely up........and my fave songs! Lovin' that ride! Now I've got a little bit of new car fever!!!

*Side note: All is well, my Mas is home, and life is good at the house!

Totally Missing Him...........

Ugh. Maybe I am too overprotective, maybe I am too over-dramatic, maybe I am just too much of a mother (is there such a thing??) but, regardless, I miss him.
Yes, his first trip away from home, no mom or dad to supervise, be there...just in case.
Not that I don't trust him. I totally trust him, but I know that "things happen" and that's what I don't trust.

And........duh! Why doesn't he call me? Is he too busy doing what Beta Club members do? Is he so busy with his friends? Wow! Do I sound like a jealous girlfriend or what?! Wow, that kid is gonna kill me before it is all over with!

I just love him, and I miss him. I miss him coming in to give me that "good morning hug" every morning, I miss his sweet spirit when he gets in my car in the afternoon. Yes, I miss him.

Can you tell? Thank goodness he will be home tomorrow! Yipee!
