Take.Take.Take it all

Wow! Wow! And wow again! We went to the Hillsong United concert and although I am a fan.....I was in awe of the worship experience that I encountered that night.

I am in a place......a very hard place right now, and trying to be even a little more intentional about my faith, my worship and just my relationship with the Lord.......and that is VERY difficult. Let me say outloud. Very difficult.

I feel like I have been floundering back and forth over the past couple of weeks, and I finally just this week, think I have gotten a better understanding. Every little baby step closer to Him, is one step in the right direction, but puts me under attack even more. And, that is tough. I don't deal well with conflict! ha! So, I tend to retreat, back to myself. But, just now, watching this video again, reminds me of the power that I have.

The power to praise, the power to share, and the power to overcome the attack.

So, if you feel so inclined.......just watch.......now, mind you, we were in the balcony and I shot this on the spur of the moment, so it's a little rough, but you can see and feel the power of Jesus in this place. And, the force behind the worship!

I love Scripts! Have I said that before! Well, now that Scrap ETC is closing the brick and mortar store.....I am loving it even more!

Here's a little something fun I did for the end of the school year! The cute bucket is for Chap's teacher! I filled it with cookies! She has a sweet baby in her belly, so I am sure they both enjoyed them!

The cookie bags are for ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the teachers, janitors, lunchroom ladies.........just whoever the boys wanted to give them too! There are SO many wonderful people that help with my boys from 8am - 3pm, I just wanted to give them a little love for the end of the year! I love how the Scripts kit all looks good together, but not too matchy-matchy!

My friend, Jennifer.......well, she helped me see a wagon......in a new light....maybe I can make my little sign soon!

Just a reminder......it IS worth it!

When I am in the middle of my woes.......burning the candle at both ends, running to and fro, doing more things than I can possibly juggle, and at the end of the day, being so crazy exhausted....here comes Mother's Day.

I think of the people who don't have their children with them on Mother's Day. I think of my sweet little Elijah, and how different life might be with *3* boys! I think of the women who have not yet had the blessing of feeling the way I felt those days, when I heard there cries for the very first time.

Yes, it is worth it! Every tiring second. Every bad day. Every good one. Every smile. Every "thank you". Every text message, saying "mom, I did it!" Every thumbs up from first base. Every snuggle on the couch. Every "i love you" mumbled very quietly as he hops out of the car at junior high. Every kiss on the cheek! Every single thing.

It makes it all worth it! T

And, I have said it, and will say it again, I am NOT just a stay at home mom! I AM a stay at home mom. On purpose! And, I thank God for it! And my boys. Any my hubby who is willingly sacrificing so that I can be!

I don't think it is any coincidence that this holiday falls in Mid-May.......in the midst of end-of-the-year parties, field trips, academic banquets, make-up rained-out ballgames, tournaments, choir performances!

Thank God.......for Mother's Day!

Ok, so here's a blog post with no photos! That's a rare deal for me....but ya know!

So, wow, it has been a few busy weeks in the past, and I think that I am really full of being all things to all people. Now, let me say: each and everything is fantastic for the most part, but man, I am one tired girl.

Scrap ETC event. Wow, what a time.
Saving Private Parts. Raising lots of $$$
Mayfield. Doing a little Ice Cream PR
Wife. Oh yeah. That.
Mom of the boys. Tennis. Baseball. Choir. Drama. Media Ministry at church. and schoo. Yikes.
Family. we have had a few loved ones go on to be with Jesus in the last few months. That is hard too.
Friend. Yes, trying to keep up. Hang out with my peeps. Starbucks with Susie. Dinner with friends. Grilled Cheese's on Sundays.
Running. Oh. Wow. Another Marathon. What was I thinking!

Yes, tired. Recovering. Back at it. Needing to focus a little more on the boys school, for these last few days.
