This is the Life!

So, I absolutely had to add the Hannah Montana song to the end of my blog! This is the Life!

Sitting on the beach, toes in the sand, Scott constantly trying not to let the sand touch him (right next to me.......loving the sand!) and watching the boys play in the water. The tides were high, to say the least, and the flag was red, the lifeguard in full action, and the boys having a ball.

Splashing, jumping, laughing, falling...I'm lovin' it.

Seriously, this is the life.

I saw a quote the other day, "life is what happens while you are busy making plans"

Wow, that is for sure. No plans here, just life. Fun life!

Here we go!

Ok, it is official. My scrapbook stuff has been packed away for 3 months! OH MY GOODNESS! That is just awful!

So, my studio is NOT ready, and my stuff is still packed, but I must CREATE or I am gonna go crazy! Now that the boys are home, and I am not carpool/PTO/Room Mom crazy, I might can get something done!

So, I am gonna do it today! I mean, after all, it is Memorial Day! Doesn't that mean I should work on some memories??? Ok, well, I am gonna!

The run that never was!!!

Although the run got rained out, we waited it out! The boys were really pumped up and ready to go, we were ready in our cutest zoo run tshirts, and hoping for the best.

But, while we waited, the DJ played Electric Slide, Cha Cha slide, and of course we danced in the storm (hey, isn't that almost scriptural??)

Anyways, what fun we had. Now, they saw how much fun it could've been, so we're gonna all do a run this weekend!! luv my boys!

Ok, so I've got my PINK Tab energy drink just like I like it, my Snicker's marathon bar ready to go, my good runnin' socks and tennis shoes, and even my cutie pie under armour shorts.........the boys have their cutest running shorts ready, and we are headed to the zoo this afternoon!

Our first run together! We are all going to do the Zoo Run, starting with the giraffes............running through the zoo at night! How fun is that!

I am doing the 5K and the boys are doing the Cheetah Challenge..........the one mile fun run!

And of course, a trip to the zoo! What a fun time!!

Can't wait! Now, just gotta eat me some pasta for lunch so all my carbs will be ready to burn!!

Wow, 8:03 am and it's a good day already!

4:45am - Workout
6:10 am -Drop off a movie at Movie Gallery before the fees kick in!!
6:45am - Pour first cup of coffee
6:50am - Scott leaves for work
7:10am - Chap is already awake, flipping thru the TiVo list for Hannah Montana
7:50am - Pour second cup of coffee
8:01am - Mason strolls out of bed and up the stairs
8:03am - No School Friday, what a great day!

Super Proud Mom!

Who's the proudest mother in the world???? MEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Oh my goodness. I love that Mason. He came in yesterday, and we looked over the elective choices for his 7th grade year. The list showed Beta Club, and it sayed beside it "invitation". So, he said, "Well, I would like to do it, but I guess not." I said, "well if you get the invitation, it would be great for you. "

So, today, we are getting out of the car in the drive way, and he says, "Hey Mom (with that quirky grin).......I got the invitation."

I had no idea...........he said...."you know, the one for Beta Club."

Oh my gosh! Whatever! I am just the proudest thing ever! Love that kid.
