Well, another First Day of School. Ahh, these are so hard. Although, I have done really well today. Only a few tears, and I am feeling good enough to type about it! That, my friends, is progress.
I prayed hard last night. I prayed for good days, for all, I prayed for nice friends, I prayed for kind teachers, and kind words from other kids, I prayed for wisdom and clarity, and that God would let me let them go! And, that I would be ok with it. And, I kind of am!
And, then.............we were walking down the hall to class, and he said, "Mom, you are going to have a great day!" And he grabbed my hand, as we walked. I mean, that may not mean alot to some, but to me! It means the world! That kid. He is so sweet. He does love me! He does need me! And, I know it.
And, he will have a great day. They both will. Of course, Mason hardly had much to say as he piled out of the car.........to go hang out with his friends. Ugh! That kid. Teenagers. I love him just the same.

Ours starts after Labor Day thank goodness.
